The report conducts an evaluation of current acoustic modelling capabilities in relation to E&P activity. It also provides links to physical and animal databases. Paper identifies BELLHOP, ORCA, KRAKEN, RAM, TRACEO, and WAVEQ3D AND MOCASSIN, as best suited for use as core propagation models and recommends the following areas for urgent development: core model selection criteria, improved statistical measures of sound exposure, improved ambient noise modelling, and ease of use.
