Boat-induced pressure does not influence breeding site selection of a vulnerable fish species in a highly anthropized coastal area
Picciulin, M., Zucchetta, M., Facca, C. ,Malavasi, S.
Investigation of boat noise’s potential influence on selection of breeding sites in protected vocal fish. The role of temporal, morphological, and hydrodynamic variables explaining the observed distribution patterns was evaluated using a GLM approach, considering also human-induced pressures among the candidate predictors. results suggest that choice was not influenced by boat-induced pressure.
