Passive acoustic monitoring widely used in Taiwan noise and biodiversity monitoring. Paper reviews PAM studies encompassing pre-construction, construction, and operational phases of the first offshore wind turbine demonstration project, as well as the current underwater noise characteristics during the construction phase of offshore wind farms. results indicate PAM has favourable applications.
